Brandon brings warmth, empathy, and a collaborative spirit to his work as a therapist. He is passionate about fostering an environment where clients feel heard, valued, and supported in making meaningful changes. As every client is a unique individual, Brandon follows suit by tailoring his approach and process to the client. someone who believes in fostering client self-advocacy and empowerment, he encourages clients to provide feedback to assist in developing a therapeutic space that works for them.
As someone who deeply values cultural identity and inclusivity, Brandon strives to provide therapy that is both high-quality and culturally competent, helping to break down barriers to mental health care. Brandon enjoys helping clients navigate and process family-of-origin concerns, grief, and the impacts of trauma; he is also specifically interested in working with clients who come from alcoholic family systems and those navigating multiracial identity development.
Brandon holds a B.A. in Psychology from Marymount University. His therapeutic approach is rooted in person-centered care and draws from narrative therapy, family systems, solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). He works alongside clients to harness their unique strengths, helping them navigate challenges and create a life aligned with their values.
With a background in youth programming, Brandon has extensive experience working with children, parents, and families. He has facilitated social-emotional learning programs, supported academic success, and guided families through critical transitions. This experience informs his ability to approach therapy with compassion and a deep understanding of family dynamics and individual needs.
Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Brandon understands the importance of giving back to his community. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, bowling, and spending quality time with his Black Labrador, Thor. Whether working with individuals, families, or youth, Brandon brings a compassionate and engaging presence to every session, helping clients take meaningful steps toward healing and growth.
