About my approach

I’m calm, warm, inquisitive, and direct. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns that don’t match who they want to be—especially in close relationships. Together, we’ll slow things down, get curious about what’s happening beneath the surface, and identify the cycle that keeps pulling you back into the same arguments, disconnection, or self-doubt. From there, we’ll practice new skills and perspectives that align with your goals and values—so change feels both practical and sustainable.

What clients say

Clients often describe our work as grounded and clarifying—like they can finally name what’s been happening and understand their part in the pattern without feeling blamed. They appreciate feeling genuinely heard, and also supported with honest feedback, thoughtful questions, and gentle challenge when an old perspective isn’t serving them anymore.

Guiding idea / Point of therapy

Therapy is a place to understand your relationship patterns—how they formed, what they protect, and what they cost—and then create new options. My goal is to help you build relationships that feel more secure, more honest, and more aligned with what matters most to you.

Tools & frameworks I use

Family Systems • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) • Gottman Method • Polyvagal-informed strategies

What you can expect in a session with me

You can expect an empathic, steady presence—and a collaborative process. I’ll listen closely, ask meaningful questions, and help you connect the dots. I’ll also offer honest feedback and gently challenge unhelpful perspectives so you can move from insight into real-life change.

If you’re nervous to start…

Being nervous to start therapy is completely understandable. It can take courage to share thoughts and feelings with someone else. I’ll meet you with warmth and care, and we’ll move at a pace that feels respectful and manageable—so you can talk about what matters most without feeling overwhelmed.

A belief that shapes my work

“Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up.”Brené Brown

Outside of therapy you’ll find me…

Enjoying time with my family, walking my dog, assembling a jigsaw puzzle, swimming, or curling up with a good book.

Note: If you’re in crisis or need immediate support, call 988 or go to the nearest emergency room.
