About my approach

I take a thoughtful, flexible approach that meets each person where they are. I blend talk therapy with art-making and play so exploration feels natural and empowering. Together, we’ll notice patterns, make meaning, and build tools you can use in daily life.

What clients say

Clients often describe me as warm, curious, and uplifting. They say they feel seen and understood, and they appreciate the way I draw connections, ask thoughtful questions, and bring humor when it helps the work.

Guiding idea / Point of therapy

We all have the capacity to create meaning from our experiences and shape our lives with intention.

Tools & frameworks I use

Art TherapyPlay Therapy • DBT • Narrative Therapy • Family Systems • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) • Somatic / Mind-Body

What you can expect in a session with me

Sessions are collaborative and creative. We might use drawing, collage, or simple movement to express emotions when words don’t quite fit. I integrate mindfulness and DBT tools for regulation, narrative reframes for shifting old stories, and playful, developmentally appropriate techniques for kids and pre-teens. Teens and adults can expect practical tools paired with reflective insight.

A belief that shapes my work

“I am seeking, I am striving, I am in it with all my heart.” — Vincent van Gogh

Outside of the therapy room

I love making art, hiking, camping, rock climbing, thrifting, going to concerts, and playing soccer. I also enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and three pets. Creative expression and community building are at the center of my life and my work.
