Will my insurance plan cover therapy?
Most insurance plans include mental health coverage. However, each insurance plan is unique. It’s best to reach out directly to your insurance company to confirm therapy coverage.
Ask your insurance: “What is my member responsibility for CPT codes 90834, 90837, 90847, and 90791?"
How much will therapy cost with insurance?
Insurance benefits vary widely from plan to plan. The quickest way to find out your cost is to call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask about your outpatient mental health benefits. They can tell you exactly what each session will cost. You can also log in to your insurance portal and look under behavioral or mental health benefits.

Some insurance plans include coinsurance. Coinsurance is the percentage of each session's cost you pay after meeting your deductible. It works like a copay, but the amount is a percentage rather than a set fee.
