About my approach

My approach to counseling is holistic, warm, empathetic, and rooted in intentionality and creativity. From a person-centered approach, I work collaboratively with clients to explore different parts of their identity, understand feelings and thoughts, and find tools that help along the way.

What clients say

Clients can expect me to honor their unique experiences and meet them where they are. I listen closely as we work together to set goals, recognize unhealthy patterns, practice new skills, and explore how different parts of identity shape their experiences now.

Guiding idea / Point of therapy

I believe the whole point of therapy is to feel validated. Therapy is a space where you can feel supported on your journey of growth and healing while defining your own path forward.

Tools & frameworks I use

CBT • Family Systems • Narrative Therapy • Mindfulness • Play Therapy

What you can expect

In session, we’ll work collaboratively to identify goals, build insight, recognize patterns, and develop skills that support growth. I bring warmth, creativity, and curiosity into the therapy space so clients can feel seen, supported, and empowered.

If you’re nervous to start…

I hear you. It’s completely normal to feel nervous, and reaching out is already a meaningful first step. You get to define your own path, and we can move at the pace that feels most comfortable for you.

Outside of the therapy room

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, journaling, photography, and spending time with friends. I value creativity, connection, and authenticity both in and outside the therapeutic space. As a first-generation Filipino-American woman from an Asian immigrant family, my own identities also shape the care and intentionality I bring to my work.

Note: If you’re in crisis or need immediate support, call 988 or go to the nearest emergency room.
