About my approach

My approach to counseling is warm, supportive, and compassionate. From a relational-cultural approach, I acknowledge that individuals are shaped by the systems, environments, and cultures that surround them. I show up authentically to build meaningful relationships with my clients, empower them to pursue growth, and tailor interventions to their unique needs and values.

What clients say

Clients say that I help them identify patterns and provide a space where they feel safe to express their full range of thoughts and emotions. They appreciate our genuine relationship and ability to laugh together.

Guiding idea / Point of therapy

“How liberating it is to pursue wholeness instead of perfection.”

Therapy is a dedicated space to promote deeper self understanding and holistic wellbeing in the context of a meaningful relationship.

Tools & frameworks I use

Narrative Therapy • Emotionally Focused Therapy • Relational Cultural Theory • Mindfulness

What you can expect

Collaboratively, we will work to build upon your existing strengths, look at how past experiences shape the way you show up today, and increase the level of connection you feel to yourself and others. I bring curiosity and an empathic presence into the space so that you feel validated and known.

If you’re nervous to start…

Feeling nervous to start is normal. We will work together to move at a pace and cultivate a space that feels comfortable and authentic to you.

Outside of the therapy room

On a walk, reading on my Kindle, watching reality TV, making a new playlist or Pinterest board, or spending time with my loved ones.

Note: If you’re in crisis or need immediate support, call 988 or go to the nearest emergency room.
